I was pleasently surprised! A lot of effort went into the development of this app. It was well though out and the information is very accurate. It was a mistake that turned out to be something extreemly useful. Highly recommend and the $.99 I spent was a steal!!! Buy it

This is a phenominal app and currently a real bargain! The variety and depth of information available for travel planning makes this a "must-have" for world travel.

a wealth of info about so many places. great value. when touching cities in Egypt, it quits to Home. other countries are OK. thats my only quibble, though would be nice to be able to enlarge text too.

This app has great information. It would get five stars if I could enlarge the subway maps. There is no way to read the maps on a iPod touch.

Decent knowledge base that falls way short of indispensable as it doesnt include wiki phrasebooks-- the best part of wikitravel. Will you please update soon?

Dont get me wrong, this is a great app, but it needs more cities, or possibly the ability to search for cities

I have used many different kinds of utilities like GlobeMaster. It is completely unbeatable in cost and quality. It is also an offline item, meaning I dont have to have Wi-Fi to use it. I purchased this app for $2.99 in September 2009 and now its only $.99. (Obviously) I wish I had purchased it for less, but the value of the app far exceeds its price. This app is simply amazing. It is very detailed and even works without Internet connectivity. Its definitely a must-have app...and for $.99, why not??

Ive visited 32 countries so far... This app rocks! Great "in a medium sized nutshell" info. Cant tell you how quickly they get u up to speed-headed to indonesia next month and so nice to have a condensed down resource I can refer to so. Etiquette. Vegetarian menu liklihood. History. Slang. Environmental issues. Artistry ( and where best to find it) the list goes on and on! How can they do all this for $0.99?? And soooo many countries! Well designed. Attractive super iPhone user friendly. I am NOT a paid commenter or friend of the developer... Just a globe wanderer who is thrilled to have a cool thorough non-nerdy reference for my iPhone! Gonna have some awesome stuff to peruse on the flight over! 

I got this app mostly because it can be used offline and I am glad I did! It is so informational and easy to use. And the most important thing is that its accurate about everything that I have looked up so far, and Ive looked up quite a bit. It tells you the good and the bad about the country and its people, but does so in a very respectful way. Definitely a keeper. Its worth every penny :)

I do not know what for? Maps are not offline and requires internet. DO NOT BUY IT!

Great stuff! Recommend buying it as you never know when youll be cut out of the internet pipe. I benefitted from the perfect guides in the app in the most surprising places. Perfect companion for a true road-warrior!

The company I work for has business partners all over the world and my job is to stay in touch with them, visiting them or have them visit our HQ. Whenever I am going to go and visit them I do a little bit of research about their country, culture, economy, etc online and this app is a perfect companion to all that research that I can use while in airplane mode, while flying to my destination. Very accurate and useful. I really like it.

This app hasnt been updated in 2 1/2 years!! Most of the info in many countries is old and obsolete. That makes this app totally unreliable on demographics and other important info. It needs a new database update really bad. Now its just a 198 MB dead weight on your disk space. Not even worth it for free!

A great app back in the day. But it needs an update. At give us a retina icon. Sheesh.

I really like this app but it REALLY needs to be updated. I travel to countries a lot of people do not visit but might if they had more information. Is there any way to at least have a place where people can communicate if they are in the same country looking for something?

The greatest thing about this app is that it can be used almost completely without an internet connection. I used this app everyday on my trip to Europe. It will give you detailed dectriptions of most major cities worldwide. It gives you the dos and donts of your destination. It is even an interesting read when not travelling. Recommend this to any traveller.

Needs an update. Otherwise enjoyable, accurate and worth every penny.
